Outdoor & Ecological Practice
I describe my practice as outdoors and ecological. To me, this means that I offer both a space (outdoors) and an approach (ecological) that invites us to work together reciprocally in and with nature, where we encounter human and more-than-human worlds, together in a dynamic process, recognising eco-distress and the environmental crisis.
This can take place outdoors and indoors.
I work form several outdoor locations, in and near Nottingham and in the Peak District, as well as Hampstead Heath in London. I am most familiar with the land of the British Isles and follow the Celtic Year / Wheel of the Year.
My outdoor and ecological practice is rooted in my clinical thinking and draws upon my previous outdoor and ecological work as well as my personal experiences and relationship with the more-than-human world.
