Online Supervision Group
for Outdoor Professionals & Psychotherapists

This online supervision group is for diverse professionals working therapeutically and psychotherapeutically in the outdoors.

 

The intention is to co-create a space where together we can share, reflect and learn collaboratively, with the hope of developing our practice in the outdoors and fostering our professional development.

 

The group is open to professionals in different fields, such as trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, as well as outdoor professionals, forest schools’ practitioners, rangers, teachers, allied mental health professionals, social workers etc. We welcome international practitioners.

 

In this group there will be opportunities to:

 

  • Discuss your outdoor therapeutic practice and its challenges

  • Connect meaningfully and explore professional issues with likeminded practitioners

  • Consider your professional context and how you might develop it further

  • Reflect on your personal experiences of work

  • Discuss good practice in the sector and ways to apply it

  • Engage in creative and / or experiential practices, if that fits for the group

 

The group will be facilitated by Kirsty Weedon (Individual & Group Psychodrama Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor) and Katarina Horrox (Art Psychotherapist, Organisational Therapist & Clinical Supervisor), who are experienced in working with individuals and groups, indoors and outdoors.

Practical details:

  • Held monthly on Friday 9.30-11.30am GMT/BST, for ten months 

  • Dates: 9th October, 13th November, 11th December 2026, 8th January, 12th February, 12th March, 9th April, 14th May, 11th June, 9th July 2027 

  • General Fee: £550 

  • AOT / IOL Member Fee: £500 

  • Reduced Fee: £350 (provided a minimum number of places have been filled) 

  • Organisational Fee: £700 

  • Total Continuing Professional Development: 20 hours 

  • Group size - Maximum 12 people
